Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced Starship Pilot to join our expanding fleet of hyperspace-capable aircraft. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, cargo, and the occasional diplomatic envoy across both terrestrial and non-terrestrial routes.
Responsibilities include:
- Navigating short and long-haul routes, including those requiring hyperspace jumps — calculations must be precise. We've all seen what happens otherwise.
- Maintaining composure under pressure: sensor malfunctions, hostile intercepts, and delayed baggage on Tatooine are all part of the job.
- Upholding SunExpress's legendary customer service standards, even at 1.5 parsecs from the nearest hub.
- Completing pre-flight checks, logging flight hours, and filing all mandatory reports — yes, even out here.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of verified piloting experience across multi-engine, atmospheric, and deep-space vessels
- Valid ATPL or equivalent interstellar certification — I've got a bad feeling about this is not an acceptable pre-flight assessment
- Proficiency with both analogue controls and navigational computer systems; astromech compatibility is a plus
- Strong record of on-time arrivals — Han Solo-style close calls are admired, but not encouraged
- Clean safety record; no Death Star incidents, please
